Bob,
I do not know if any of the the following books are obtainable new, but
you can likely get them used via www.amazon.com . They have a used book
option for out of print books. I saw two editions of the York book this
weekend so I know it has been printed at least twice with different pictures
and covers. It is printed by Englsih Heritage of London. I found the
Barnes and Noble book on the half price table at Barnes and Noble so it
isn't likely that you will find that one. The Cultural Atlas of the Viking
World belongs to my wife who has a degree in folklore and a minor in
anthropology. It was printed by Andromeda Oxford Ltd. in England and may
be hard to find. Try amazon. If that fails, write me and I can look up
stuff for you.
or you can visit my shop in East Bethel, MN and look at em here. :) I have
been warned by the wife that nobody walks out of here with her books, but I
could photocopy a page or two if you need'em
The Vikings by Barnes and Noble Books (a coffee table book)
Cultural Atlas of the Viking World by James Graham-Campbell, Colleen Batery,
Helen Clarke, R.I. Page, and Neil S. Price
Viking Age York by Richard Hall
