Actually, I have an ethernet jack in the new bathroom I am building, 
although things are going to go wireless here before too long( I'm just 
too cheap, but prices are dropping).    I did work for REI building 
their website years ago.  All of their non store sales came from the 
web, not the call center, but they continued to publish a catalog.  They 
figured out early on that the buy decisions were made in the bathroom 
not on the web.
