A quick fix we used to do years ago was add the text needed for the
search engines in text the same color as the background. This puts you
on the search engines without reworking your pre designed catalog. Not
themost web friendly, but a step up with minimal expenditure. This used
to work, although some sites started using it for more nefarious
purposes and as a result I have heard that some search engines block it
(it was called cramming as I recall).
