When posting information to web pages, information that is written in
text / HTML is information that can be searched for. However,
information that is in the form of graphic or picture files
while visually readable is not generally search-able.

Point : The owners of a local Mom & Pop business stopped in to my
office the other day to ask why they couldn't find their web page on the
web crawlers / search programs like yahoo and google .
They build and have shipped handicap equipment to 50 USA states , as
well as Canada, England and Australia .

They had gone to some expense to have a web page. They had some one take
their catalog and post it to their new web page. It was quickly
apparent to me, what the problem was. None of the description script
was written: rather it was simply scanned as a graphic / photo files and
uploaded that way. They needed to re construct their entire web page
to make the wording accessible to the search engines.: Retype the text
descriptions, and up load graphic files that are limited to the photos /
diagrams only.
