I work 45 plus hours a week as a service manager
for a construction equipment co. ( sales, service and
parts for multiple product lines, as a full time job.)
I'm 64 years old.

>personal goals: To learn all I can pertaining to the
art of blacksmithing is the main goal. But another
goal is to someday get my shop cleaned out enough
to find my forge without to much ttrouble.:^)

>interested in tech or design skills:
>do you like to do projects or make up your own:
In both of the above, I think we have to try to do it
all, if we wish to better ourselves. I think if I was to
stick with just one phase I would get stale, even
though I just do it parttime.

>how much time for blacksmithing: that all depends
on weather, health, family committments etc, not
necessarily in that order.

>time set aside for studing bsing: no specific time is
set aside, when time permits I love reading any and
all blacksmith publications I can get my hands on,
Anvils Ring, Hammmers Blow, BS Journal, BS Gazette,
Traditional BS as well as any of the oter chapt---OOPS-
affiliates news letters also attending what various affili=
ates conferences I can.

>do you set goals in the shop: I do a little commission
work, so I work on that when I can, any spare time I like
to play around with small organic table sculptures and/or
wall hangers. (Flowers, leaves and such.)

>what motivates you: Being the worlds greatest procra-
stinator, it usually takes a small charge of dynamite
to move me. But I really love what I do, and all the won-
derful people that I have encountered in my trip through
the halls of blacksmithing

I also enjoy getting to check out The Forge every night.
