I simply use poly urethane glue, because it never turns hard, and it foams
up to fill any voids. I have yet to have a head come loose as long as you
clean everything with a good solvent before gluing. Coat everything then
set the head ad wedged with glue on the also. let it cure and clean up with
a razor blade as the glue will foam up and run out of any cracks. 99% of my
handles are destroyed long before any of these joints have ever come loose.
