We're doing well thank you. Looks like summer will be reasonably nice and
with the house finished I'm finally getting to start on my projects. Nothing
to compare to the one you're contemplating of course but it should keep me
occupied for a couple years.

Other than this "little hobby project" <grin> you're taking on, how you guys
doing?

Half the time if you run into more than the usual problems, probably more
like 1/3 if all goes reasonably smoothly. I've had "help" too. <grin>

Code can be a pain in the butt sometimes but at least you "probably" don't
have to worry about somebody "developing" the neighboring land into a mobile
home slum. Somebody already suggested a motor home, travel trailer, etc. It
sounds much more attractive to me than scratch building a yurt, etc.

Don't you just love the local gvt? Same thing here; even if they're less
restrictive they're no less money hungry. But OH the services they provide .
. . Uh . . . er. . . what was I saying again?

Good idea but I'll bet the county has occupancy requirements. . . Still . .
. If it's "temporary." We're ALL here temporarily arent we? <grin>

Yeah, it's not a bad idea but unless you're planning on marketing them
they're not going to be efficient to make for a one time use. Finding
something close enough as an off the shelf item is (I think) the only way
they'd be practical in your case. If nothing is available lashings have been
working just fine for a couple thousand years. (please don't quote me, I
don't really know how long yurts have been around. I do know the people that
actually live in them call them something entirely different I just don't
recall what. <sigh>)

Good luck buddy.
