To All,
Oh Please!
Try calling up your local die supplier and ask for a 1'" x 8" die to cold
draw a bar at the aformentioned size!
Not only is cold finished bar rolled it is turkshead rolled on all four sides
at one time. Rolling is a much easier process that drawing as it uses
rolling friction during the reduction rather than sliding friction.
Rod is cold drawn, wire is cold drawn, sheet for your fridge and car is cold
rolled.
