Yeah, they used to do that in Georgetown, in DC, when I was a kid. Then, a
few years ago in Zanesville Ohio, I guy started doing it. Very nice guy, and
with a bit of guidance, would get my knives beautifully sharp...

His was rather small, too. I'm wondering if it might be a portability issue,
requiring that particular designe to have shorter pedals to avoid hitting
the ground, or other interference. Of course, it could also just be that the
parts scavenged to make them came from kid's bicycles ;-) I'll keep the
water tank idea in mind. I'm now talking to a couple of people- may wind up
wwith a pair of wheels in different grits- and in both cases, it looks like
I might hafta do some frame repair and modification, so adding in a water
tank might be an interesting addition.

The first one looks like in might arrive via SCA mail Tuesday, when I go to
work, so I may be able to play with it at Vinland Raids, that weekend ;-)

"When in doubt, heat it up and hit it with a hammer."
 Blacksmith's credo.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it is probably not a
cat.

Never a horse that cain't be rode,
And never a rider who cain't be throwed....
