Thats Scarey, not all Autoshades are created equal.....

Personally if it isn't over about 275.00 I won't even purchase them for my
shop they don't stand up.  Also I have had several employee's using cheap
ones have a problem, resulting in lost time WC claims.....  Your eyes are
not replaceable you get one set in life, are they worth a even a few dollars
short of premium product?     Isn't that like asking for a cut rate surgeon
in the OR???

Just my TWO bits.........

I have seen allot of autoshade helmets and I have never seen a totally
solarcell driven one that works with low current or pulser driven
TIG...........
