Bob- that is the way we judge the quality of our work too. If the UPS guy,
or the water delivery guy, or the truck driver likes it, then we know its
not too "arty", and we have done it right.
I am disappointed to find out you welded it together. Even though every time
I have tried to tie a knot in hot iron it hasnt worked very well, I was
hoping to hear a story about a huge custom forge, heating 6 feet of
material, then some kind of custom rig to pull the knot tight using
comealongs, hydraulic cylinders, winches, and a small bulldozer.
Instead, you are working smarter, not harder.
