I sure have a different attitude toward small amounts of pain in the fingers
after a few years of hot work.
People think it's weird when I grab meat right off the grill with my
fingers, but I think there's two kinds of pain- that which gives you a
warning, and that which means something is getting ruined.
One is for learning, one is punishment for not paying attention!  ;-)
