[TheForge] Clear Coat for Mild Steel

Greetings,

I'm working on a small piece(light sconce) that will hang outdoors on a 
porch.  Moisture, no direct rainfall.  I need a clearcoat to shoot 
directly on  gun black stained tubesteel and plate.  It's too small to 
get involved with mixing 2 part stuff etc.  Has anyone had any luck with 
Krylon or SIM off the shelf type clear coats for exterior applications? 
 Anything at all fairly simple for small projects like this?  Ries, do I 
remember correctly you having good luck with Krylon outdoors?  Thanks.
