[TheForge] [OT] Pyro-boom (Re: Thanks for the info...)

That can be arranged, we have plenty of cannons.

I more of less was just making the point that unless a propane tank is full
of liquid, its relatively safe to finish burning off the residual gas and
recycle it. Propane tanks come in all sorts and sizes, I have some of them
we have even used for prototype rocket engines as the combustion chamber,
although because they're steel and turn red hot they have a limited lifespan
before developing a hole and "flaming out"

http://www.bograt.com/misc%20graphics/Pulsejets/

There are some pics of one operating.

While tanks are dangerous good safety practices will prevent accidents.

We have even cut open an Aceyt tank on the bandsaw (Was out of hydro and
mostly rusted out) we let it stand for about 2 weeks without a valve, and
put it in the bandsaw in the middle of the parking lot and let it hack away.

Needless to say we are all still here.

No fine MIST and no Big Kablooey

Paul
