Up here freon tanks must be pumped empty and then punctured before being 
scrapped.  The salvage/scrap yards won't take them if they're not 
punctured.  Takes all the worry out of using them.  Bring them home and 
make your forge.  Smaller than a propane tank forge, but still great for 
smaller stuff.

I just picked up a dozen for a future (plan's in the works but not set yet) 
UMBA propane forge building workshop.
