Just to add to the Grinder Info, I run all 4.5" Dewalt, grinders in my shop,
I forget the model number but it has the metal head and not the plastic one.
6.8 amps is the power rating.  They are very nearly indestructible, unless
you purposely run them to the point they burn up (2 hours of hard grinding
and about 30 wheels later....)

I have 30 of them in the shop used by all sorts of imbeciles as well as
trained personnel.  They have been driven over, dropped, cut with torches,
and even left in the way of a returning hydraulic press to be smashed.  on 6
years I have bought only 5 replacement grinders.

The only trick I learned after the first grinder, is after they are 1 year
old, open the metal gear case, and clean out the old grease and replace it
with good moly wheel bearing grease.  Do this yearly there after and you are
good to go.  The grease replacement has nothing to do with usage and
everything to do with age.  They use a cheap clay based grease from the
factor, and a good sulfur or moly based grease replacement is required as
the clay grease leaches out its light oil constituent and becomes hard and
non lubrus.  I suspect this is the case with most grinders, but have not
checked any of them out lately.
