Glad you were able to make it to the meet while you were in town.
Dave Lisch and his wife Andrea and Son are gracious hosts. We used to share space across town and both cut our teeth on the street fair circuit. He stepped up recently and became a NWBA board member as has Alan Flashing. Alan worked with the Zimmerman family in Germany and has a an ol' 5B in the shed out back, in oregon.
There were some interesting mechanical concoctions there as that mechanical treadle hammer. Dan Dreyer showed up from Puyallup and I picked his brain about his variable speed green 'hornet' hammer that was at ABANA '98. I think it won runner up in the homebuilt catagory but It's the baddest little mechanical I've ever seen. He's making 8 more, in a 45lb version in his spare time from being a boat welder. Check out Dan's hammer under the link at http://anvilfire.com/power/
I'm all about air now but I WOULD buy one of these. It reminds me of a Kerrihard.
