[TheForge] Boy Scout Demo

Speaking of Boy Scout demos, Daniel Webster Council (New Hampshire) is
putting on their once-every-four-years Jamboree and are looking for a
blacksmith to demo. The date for this is Oct. 4th and that unfortunately
coincides with the New England Blacksmiths Fall Meet. I would have loved
to help them out, but I'm already committed to helping out at the Fall
Meet.

The intent of the demo is to introduce boys (and girls) to possible
hobbies or even vocations. So if anyone is interested in showing off to
a bunch of Scouts ages 8 - 21 plus some parents and adult leaders, then
this would be a great way to exhibit the "lost" craft of blacksmithing.
They are expecting around 10,000 participants.

Again, this will be held on Oct. 4th, all day, and is at Gunstock
Recreation Area. If interested, please get back to me and I'll get you
in touch with the Scouts.
