Sorry not true, thats something me and my wife like about living here, no
compulsory voting, in New Zealand our home, there is compulsory voting, we
know nothing of the politics or politicians here so its nice to be able to
ignore it, but I do realise the importance of democracy and what could
happen if everyone had my attitude, I used to be quite politically aware in
NZ but it was easier in a small country.
