Well I can say that over all I can have better temp control with a coal
forge. Most gassers are an all or nothing in terms of where the heat
goes.... with a coal forge you can more easily heat a specific region.
Gassers too have killing fumes, only difference is you can not see nor
smell them. I will agree the smoke is rather nasty to see and smell. One
reason why I am looking at the feasablity of charcoal. Especially since
it is now cheaper than coal in the area. I also have a gasser which I
use as often as the coal forge.. all depends on what I am working on at
the time
