Phil, The original plans call for a 2" cylinder with a 10" stroke.
I'm going to try using a 2 1/2" cylinder with 20" stroke next round.
The ram the Kinyon plans call for is a 50 lb block of steel.
Some 2" cylinders have 1/4"NPT ports. Cylinders with 3/8" NPT ports
will yeild more beats per minute (with the proper valve).

> What is the current thinking on the proper cylinder size (bore and stroke)
for a Kinyon built to the origional specs? I think it comes out to be
something like a 75 pound hammer? What about the size of the ports on the
cylinder? I know that some of you guys are going to larger cylinders.
