Hello all,
Not to perpetuate an off topic thread, But I feel this needs to be said.

Please be careful before turning off such services and know what you are
turning off.
For example, My e-mail uses smtp (Simple Mail Transport Protocol) which
controls outgoing e-mail. Turning that off would keep me from sending out
any e-mail. FTP (File Transport Protocol) I also use from certain sites as
downloads and also to upload my webpages. I am a Network Technician and
deal with people doing things like this regularly. Just please, do some
research or talk with your local pc guru or network person before turning
off and services or protocols.

Thanks,
Kevin
