I would like to thank all whom participated in this discussion about treadle hammer designs.

After studying all literature available and the comments of experienced and knowledgeable  individuals in this field, one is led to the following conclusions.

        A.  The old mouse trap works, don't fix it.

        B.  Columbus did not find a short-cut to India, therefore India does not exist.
