        Pete,  why would you run such a wide belt? are you using this for
flattening dies and tooling as well as deburing.........or did you just get
a railcar full of 8" wide belts at auction?

        I really like Bob Bordeaux's idea of making a telescoping adjustment
to be able to use any length belt......he comes up with the greatest deals
on abrasives that way - as he can buy anything left over in lots not used by
folks who can't fit particular sizes on their machines.
