[TheForge] Importance of GOOD virus protection

I got a virus warning through another e-mail address=20
that I use sometimes. Fortunately the virus was=20
stripped from the attachment long before it ever got to me.
Also I use PC-Cillin and I trust it. But if I did not have=20
good protection, I probably would have opened this attachment.
The attachment name is ringlogo3[1].jpg and it is 14.0 kb in size.
So be careful if you get that attachment. I (think) that the clue
here is the number 1 in brackets [1] at the end of the file name.
This service sent me the cleaned attachment and it is a very=20
nice banner with a textured blue background and chrome letters=20
that spell out "The Metalsmith's Ring" I would like to think that
whoever created this banner is someone that wants to start a web ring
and that they had no malice in mind when sending the attachment.
But who knows?=20
Below is a copy of the warning message that I received.
