Greetings,

In all fairness to John Newman, when I said I didn't like the finish on 
the blocks he castes and finishes which are available through Kayne and 
Son in the USA, I think I might  have been  a bit off the mark.  After 
reading about and talking to experienced smiths about finishing castings 
I think I misread the finish.  Like I said, I almost bought one.  I'm 
just used to looking at older,used blocks.  That aside, are the Centaur 
Forge Block B the Yater copies?
