here are some test results:

slide show does *_not_* work
linux (mandrake 8.2) mozilla 1.1 
linux (mandrake 8.2) netscape 4.7
macos-9.x            mozilla-1.02
macos-9.x            netscape 4.7
macos-x (10.1)       mozilla
macos-x (10.1)       netscape 6.x
macos-x (jaguar)     mozilla
macos-x (jaguar)     netscape 6.x

in looking at the javascript file for the slide show it definitely
is broken when it comes to any browser other than microsoft
internet explorer.

would you want me to look into fixing it?
