I got my block from Laurel Machine and Foundry and am happy with it. It came
already finished and I have done nothing to it but use it. If I remember
correctly, the contact is [email protected]. His name is Ray Robinson. Ask
for the brochure on the anvils, stands and swage block. I got mine several
years ago and it was $80 for the 60-lb block and with shipping to the
Pacific NW from the south (Mississippi, I think), it was less than $100.
