Steve

I use Verisign's "Payflow" system. It's a regular merchant account process.
They check to make sure you are a viable business, so there is some
paperwork to get approved.
I run all my orders through a website interface with Verisign.
I collect the card numbers either at a show or from web orders and run them
through manually right before I ship.

Works well. It also keeps a record of all your transactions so you can print
a report for your own use.
