Lots of books available. Do a book search on Amazon.com or bookfinder.com,=
keyword "blacksmith" and if you don't want to buy all the hits, request =
them by interlibrary loan from your local library.
I have several such books and could give you some info about them if you =
name which ones you're interested in. I can't take the time to go through =
them ALL and pick them out for you right now.
Also, visit anvilfire.com and "speak" to a fellow named PawPaw Wilson =
about his research and stories.

Hi,
I'm new to the list, and joined mainly because I need to pick the brains =
of people who know about what it takes to be a blacksmith. I'm working on =
a fictional story, where the main character works as a journeyman to a =
blacksmith for part of the story. Does anyone know where I could locate =
historical information, legends and/or lore surrounding blacksmiths? Or =
does anyone here have such information they could share with me. You can =
feel free to answer off list, unless anyone else is curious, too.
Thank you.
