He was the Victorian equivalant of Percy Blandford(who I also have a lot 
of title by).   Did a lot of how to books.   I have several Hasluck 
books, and given that they are relatively cheap, I am satisfied.  Like 
all of the turn of the century how to books I have looked at, they are 
not at all comparable to modern ones.  They are a lot more scetchy in 
the details.  But, once again, for the price, ok.   I read them more for 
entertainment and sometimes for ideas.
