[TheForge] What's there to do in Lufkin, TX?

So far as blacksmithing goes, I can't say much about either Dallas or
Lufkin. But...
While in Dallas, you could go west to Ft. Worth and visit the stockyards.
The stockyards museum is nice, and the Star Cafe serves up a real fine
steak. You could get a new hat or nice pair of boots at Ryan's.
Except for restaurants, Dallas is pretty lacking, but downtown Dallas has
the JFK assassination museum and some art museums.
Can't remember the name of the place, but there is a reenactment farm east
of Dallas in the town of Forney. There is a smith on the place, or at least
used to be.
Lufkin has the Texas Forestry museum, and they have a little smithing
display. If you like fishing, some of the best holes in Texas are in and
around Angelina County.
Good luck, and have fun.
