Gabriel,

Where NW of LA will make a difference as will knowing what you're looKing for.

South (Vista) and Southeast (Santa Ana) are CBA groups. North of LA there
was a short-lived group that met in Tujunga, but it is gone now. Bob
Cooper, ex-CBA Board Member is working on a new North of LA situation, but
it's not up and running now.

I'm a relative beginner hobbyist living in Altadena, about 12 miles north
of LA, and am glad to welcome you to the area. Maybe your best shot is to
attend the up-coming CBA hammer-in in April and make your acquaintence with
as many Southern CA smiths as you can find and get the lay of the land.

Give me a call when you arrive.

Andy
