another light fixture (candles)  each of the corner candle fixtures
lift out of their sleeves and can be carried "to see the stairs"

Torchere materials range from 1 1/2" bar (with a 5' long forged taper) 
which was split on the diamond with a treadle hammer......
to monel  and bronze 16 gauge sheet, cold cut with chisels on a treadle 
hammer.  The top sheet
 components are 1/8" steel, cut cold with chisel's and the treadle 
hammer.  Everything started
with glued-on paper patterns except the leg decorations and the chased 
'feet'.  
The latter are forged from 1 1/2" square stock.
