Great looking shop Mike, I'm sure you will enjoy it, and being right close
to home sure makes all the difference. Congrats.

Found it. Don't remember now where for sure but probably from the
shop in Sunderland, Mass. circa 1968. When I got it, the tip of the
square end was turned up to a sort of blunt chisel edge half an inch
high. I broke that bit off before I knew what I was doing and kinda
abused it.

I can't think off hand of other large forged or forge welded things
like that. I have a very large cast iron cone 4' tall, ca. 3' base
diameter and an inch thick. One guy can't tip it over and it's dicey
with two guys. Quite a few hand made stake tools, set tools and
tongs varying from collectible beauties to incredibly gross
ad-hoc-eries.

Who's Leonard Lee? The Lee Valley guy? Or somebody at Belsaw?
There *are* other guys that have these and other (better) pics on the
net, e.g. http://www.disstonianinstitute.com/foleyfiler.html. (That
site says the re-toothing a saw was done with a separate machine.
He's wrong. The Foley Filer has an attachment to allow you to
re-tooth a saw.)
And this guy:
http://www.andy.sargent.net/woodworking/shop/foley/default.htm
contacted me for a copy of the manual/parts list that I was fortunate
enough to get with the machine.

Say that again, louder. +4C here today, too. First break in weeks.
