I haven't been able to find out for sure whether Yellin's shop made all the
ironwork in the Detroit institute of Art, but there are some very Noveau
fanlights in the Rivera hall- I really admire the "gothic" work elsewhere,
but feel that these and some similarly styled stair rails are the best
integrated to the surrounding architecture, giving a much more lively and
comfortable feel to the rooms.
