hello;

someone else is going to have to explain how since i am
a linux hacker and use pine, elm, or spruce for my e-mail.
(i normally use pine 99.99 percent of the time. ) i do not
use a web browser to read my e-mail.

the best starting place would be the web site for the e-mail
program you use.

basically, figure out how to view the full headers for e-mail
messages. then look at a valid theforge e-mail you will see what
a valid one looks like so you should be able to recognise a forged
theforge e-mail if/when it arrives.
