Harbor freight has a 50 Ton Hydraulic Shop Press listed for  $599  in a 
current catalog number 740-D  (Winter2003) ITEM 46768-2VGA    It weighs a 
about 700 pounds and stands 6 ft plus tall, etc.

picture and a detailed description.
