Just a note about cyl size and bpm on kinyon hammers, I asked around and
didnt really get a definative reply on going from 2" to 21/2" and if it
would give me a decent increase in bpm on a 90-100lb hammer. Well I finally
scored a really nice festo 63mm cyl (scrounged) and Ive gone from max of
140bpm to 220+ really nice improvement, some of you will say "of course" , I
suspected all along but even the festo reps that came and had a look last
year said no it woudnt make much difference, they were keen on electric
valving and solenoids on the 5 way to make it switch faster, I was trying to
say I couldnt see how that would make much difference but we stalemated and
I put up with what I had.
