Randy,

You're in luck.  Fla has a very active group of smiths.  There was a meeting
in Gainesville yesterday of the Northeast section of   FABA.  The state is
divided into 4 sections and there is a meeting every sat. in one section of
the state.  Next sat. there is a meeting outside Tallahassee for the
Northwest section.  Then on Feb 15th there is a statewide meeting at
Yesteryear village in West Palm Beach.  If you go to the FABA website
http://www.blacksmithing.org/  you'll get more information.   It's only $20
a year to join

Plan on attending the statewide meeting  the second sat. in April about 15
miles south east of Tallahassee, as it is a statewide meeting with more
sales, demos, classes and hoopla..

Let me know if you need more info or directions to our meeting next Sat. at
a ranch South east of Tallahassee.
