[TheForge] Modified Side-Arm Burner Troubles

I've made quite a few of the "Reil Burner", flare, 8" of 3/4" pipe, 3/4 
to 1.5" bell, etc. They work fine.

I made a couple of versions of the side arm, using a 4 way cross per 
Frosty's suggestion. The best I've made it perform is not quite as good 
as the Reil burners. My side-arm was made with the same flare and 8" of 
3/4 pipe, adapted to a cross fitting with the gas jet coming in along 
the straight thru axis. I used several sizes of cross fittings to no avail.

 From various discussions I was expecting the side arm to work quite a 
bit better, but I'm not sure I've actually seen a direct comparison. 
This makes me wonder--is it any better, or is it just another way to 
skin this cat?
