I am looking to buy a cut off saw.

Still using the home built cut off saw my old man made around 1965.  The only 
disadvantage is that it is on a pipe base and the flywheel that makes the 
foot is a bit small.  Looks really simple to make. V-belt from motor to shaft. 
Never had it give me a bit of trouble. 
Time enough for sleep in the grave.
