Don't feel too badly. We all have at least one of these
stories. I suppose getting snookered at least once in one's
	life is part of living.

This is one of the reasons I am very loathe to buy anything
from ebay. People lie like rugs. I just bought a pair of
Dietzgen "Federal" proportional dividers. They are absolutely
beautiful and in almost mint condition, but there was some
slight damage to the adjustment mechanism the seller neglected
to tell me about. But for $65 I made out like a bandit, so
	this time I was lucky.

I've seen some auctions where sellers offer money-back
guarantees. I have also, on two occasions, seen buyer's
insurance offered in a pop-up as a sale was going through.
Does anyone know about this? If it's cheap enough, I would
think it might be a very good way to insure you don't take
it in the neck at the hands of unscrupulous or ignorant
	sellers.

Oh, as for this guy and the hammer, leave a very detailed
account as negative feedback to warn other buyers away from
	him.
