The Smiths are durable..i've worn out 1 1/2 sets and they cut very well,
but I like the Victor flame better for build up and fill work. The
Smith tips have a lot more copper in them and stay cool better but torch
tips wear out as the jet gets reamed, wear out from the inside... Smith
makes a drag type sheet metal cutting tip that is a poor man's plasma
cutter........Pete F
