Banging On the Bayou 2004 =20

 It's that time again.  LAMA's 2004 conference - "Banging On the Bayou" =
is set for Saturday and Sunday  March 4 and 5, 2004 at the grounds of =
Beaver Park in Lafayette, LA.  This years conference is to be a great =
two day event.  Sign-in starts at 9:00 AM and professional blacksmith =
demonstrators Elmer Rousch and wife Linda Metcalffe are lined up for =
some eye popping techniques.  Demos by LAMA members will be offered on =
phases of smithing from basic techniques, non-ferrous metal work to =
basics of design and drafting your ideas.  Lunch will be available both =
days.  An auction in the evening and raffle drawing for a box of =
handmade blacksmith tools will culminate the days activities.  See the =
LAMA website for raffle tickets.  Admission to the demonstration area is =
only $40 for the two days activities and lunch will be available.  The =
auction and LAMA demonstrations are free and open to the public who's =
attendance is encouraged as this is a major fund raiser for the =
