Sorry to come late to the conversation.
My favorites in Paris are La Samaritain department store & Rue la fontaine
(fontaine ave) both art nouveau w/ some deco. For the classics I had the
best luck in the jim morrison cemetary. Many old crypts are outfitted with
the finest wrought iron.
If you can, take the 1 hr train ride to Rouen up north and check out the
ironwork museum. Well worth the visit.
