Grant,

I recall an Anvil Magazine feature article on a stainless steel set of gates
being forged to commemorate Charles/Diane's wedding.  It was to be at
Westminster Abbey if memory serves me correctly.

Just for a teaser, at the Asheville conference I listened to Daniel Karem
talk about his apprenticeship in Deustschland.  Apparently the castles are
like the old barn out back, on the edge of awareness of the locals.  He's
walk around the outsides and find midden heaps under windows and doors.
They'd be overgrown with sod and/or hedges, but a little digging and
prodding would often produce some locks, hinges, etc, that he'd ship home to
Canada.  What a scrounger's dream...sigh,
