I recently came into a quantity of 3/4" ACME threaded rod (3/4-6 thread, 
15" long).  Figuring that there must be something I can use them for I took 
them.  Yesterday I stopped in at a local fastener & supply company to get 
some nuts.  $2 ... each!!! ... plus sales tax.  I don't think I'll be 
complaining about the price of steel, even scrap, for a while.

Now to figure out what to do with the stuff ... but I know it won't be part 
of Wiley Coyote's next ACME order.
