[TheForge] claying a forge

I've read (here on the forge) that you don't need to clay the small cast iron 
forges, and can only assume from my cracking five or six over the years, that 
the people that say not to clay them must work for the company that makes 
them and are looking for more business.  They all crack if not lined.  Any 
refractory brick dealer will have "fire clay" by the bag.
