Actually this is not really true any more- if it ever was.
The country is run by millionaires. Most of both the senate and house 
are millionaires, and many are not lawyers. Some of them are actually 
used car salesman, who did good. The president, vice president, and 
secretaries of most everything are millionaires. Going to Law school 
actually requires hard work and studying- I know, because, after my 
youngest sibling started school, my mother went back to law school. She 
had to work very hard. A certain unnamed person who holds the highest 
post in the land could never have passed those tests.

It costs 5-10 million to be a senator now. You either have, or borrow 
it. You borrow it by making promises to those who do have it.
Lawyers make a convenient target for the millionaires to wave in front 
of us, but they are really mostly just employees.

Just remember who America's first millionaire was- the first american 
citizen to be worth a million dollars- thats right, George Washington. 
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
